we are pleased to announce that NACELS (Nile Academy Center For English-Language Services) is the first approved ETS (Educational Testing Services) certified test administration site in Mansoura. It is authorized to administer International TOEFL iBT. Also it isauthorized to administer Local TOEFL (ITP) test and TOEIC .

TOEFL iBT at a Glance:

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) enables a candidate to build the skills needed to communicate with confidence and succeed in toady's world. TOEFL tests all four language skills that are important for effective communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

TOEFL iBT (Internet–based test) consists of four sections: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. All sections are taken on the same day and the entire test is approximately four hours long.

• Reading Section: measures test taker's ability to understand university–level academic texts and passages.
• Listening Section: measures test taker's ability to understand spoken English from North America and other English-Speaking countries.
• Speaking Section: measures test taker's ability to speak and communicate in English effectively in educational environments.
• Writing Section: measures test taker's ability to write in an academic environment.

TOEFL iBT will be administered at fixed dates in a network of internet-based test centers (NACELS is one of the first ETS approved centers in Mansoura).

TOEFL scores are acceptable in most of colleges, universities and licensing agencies in more than 90 countries. Making TOEFL the most accepted English–Proficiency test in the world.

Preparation Period:

~ NACELS Center offers courses to the candidates to be prepared for the TOEFL iBT which will be organized 2 times a week for 4 hours and the total hours for the course is 48 hours.

TOEFL ITP at a Glance:

Local TOEFL ITP (institutional testing program) is a paper based test, evaluate skills in 3 sections. All sections are taken on the same day and the entire test is approximately two hours long, those sections are:

• Listening comprehension : measures the ability to understand English as it is spoken in North America, ad includes short conversations, long conversations and short talks or lectures.
• Structure and Written Expression: measured the ability to recognize standard written English.
• Reading: measures the ability to read and understand short passages at the university level.

Preparation Period:

~ NACELS Center offers courses to the candidates to be prepared for the TOEFL ITP which will be organized 2 times a week for 4 hours and the total hours for the course is 36 hours.

What is TOEIC?

           TOEIC (Test Of English For International Communication) measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to communicate in the international workplace. It is a paper based test, it assesses English proficiency in both listening and reading. Both sections are taken on the same day and the entire test is approximately two hours long. Test questions are based on authentic of language taken from everyday situations such as meetings, reports, phone calls and travel. Suitable for use in all lines of business. The TOEIC test measures the language competence of candidates whatever their level or function. With more than 3.5 millions test takers per year, the TOEIC test is the standard for workplace English worldwide.

Preparation Period:

~ NACELS Center offers courses to the candidates to be prepared for the TOEIC test (communication sessions) which will be organized 2 times a week for 4 hours and the total hours for the course is 40 hours.

The score availability?

• Scores for the TOEFL iBT are available online approximately 2 weeks after the test and the printed copy will be received after one month from the test.
• Scores for the TOEFL ITP and the TOEIC are available approximately 3-5 days after receipt of the answer sheets.

~ How to register for the test?

NACELS as a Certified Test Administration Site (CTAS) can make the registration on behalf of the candidate to help the candidate set for the test on the planned time. Moreover, we will follow your test scores and certificate till you receive your certificate.

How to register for the Preparation course?

Candidate should take a placement test before registration to be able to determine his/her strength/weakness points and concentrate on during the course. To register for our preparation course or take the placement test, you can contact us through our information office.
